Kobus “Blacky” Swart, a policing, investigations, intelligence and private security veteran with more than 30 years of experience, founded Gauteng-based Truth & Deception Technologies South Africa in 2014.

Swart’s professional experience spans the management of violent crime investigations and crime intelligence for one of South Africa’s largest banking groups, as well as for one of the country’s leading cash-in-transit companies, to a 22-year career with the South African Police Service (SAPS).
